Taking a leaf out of RGV’s book

Taking a cue from RGV, who successfully managed to auction his film ‘Anukshanam’, the makers of forthcoming ‘Bhoo’ too are trying to follow suit. Directed by Sri Kishore of ‘Sasesham’ fame, ‘Bhoo’ is a horror thriller laced with comedy.

“Varma is my favourite filmmaker. It is he, who inspired me to make ‘Sasesham’. The auction details of ‘Bhoo’ will be on janacinema.com from October 10 onwards,” he stated.

Kathi Mahesh, who is also a presenter of the film, said that while the theatre occupancy in the two states is predominantly high, the monopoly of certain individuals is making it difficult for small films to get screens. “Hence, we are following the auction mode,” he said. Starring Supriya, Jeeva, Dhanraj in the key roles, ‘Bhoo’ is entirely shot in Hong Kong.
