Rakul Preet SinghAfter participating in a near 20-day schedule for Ramesh Sippy’s ‘Shimla Mirchi’ in Shimla, actress Rakul Preet Singh has shifted focus to promote her next Telugu release ‘Current Theega’. The actress who had two hits on the trot – ‘Venkatadri Express’ and ‘Loukyam’ – is hoping for a hat trick of sorts with the Manchu Manoj-starrer. “I am happy that my first two Telugu films have done well. Yes, I am eagerly waiting for a hat trick, and I am confident that ‘Current Theega’ will succeed at the box-office,” she says.

Quiz her if she felt that Sunny Leone, who is playing a crucial character, will overshadow her presence, she replies, “No, not all. I never thought that she will dominate me. In fact, I enjoyed working with her. She plays the role of my teacher and both of us have different characters.”

About working with Manchu Manoj, she says, “He is a very jovial and a bundle of energy. The film’s title fits him aptly.”
