Stage set for Akhil’s debut

After months of dillydallying, Akkineni Akhil’s debut flick will finally go to sets on November 15. While VV Vinayak will be calling the shots, Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan will pen screenplay and dialogues

The muhurat of Akhil Akkineni’s debut flick is anything but confirmed. Though an official confirmation is awaited, it is likely that the film will be launched on November 15 in Hyderabad. The principal shooting of the film, under the supervision of VV Vinayak, too will commence on the same date, it is learnt. Another interesting update regarding the project is that it will be produced by actor Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy.

Reddy, a dear friend of Nagarjuna, was instrumental in deirctor Vikram Kumar knocking the doors of Nag with the ‘Manam’ script.

Writer Veligonda Srinivas of ‘Damarukham’ and ‘Jabardust’ fame has penned the script for this yet-untitled film while Vinayak handed over the reins of screenplay and dialogues to his trusted lieutenants Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan.
