Poonam begins T’wood stint

Controversial actress Poonam Pandey has finished shooting for her maiden Telugu film ‘Malini and Co’. A romantic thriller set in the backdrop of terrorism, the film, directed by Veeru K (of ‘Aaro Pranam’ fame), is a venture of Kishore Rathi. The film boasts of four action blocks and it will be nothing short of a star hero film, said Rathi in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Thanking producer and director for giving her an opportunity, Poonam said that she’s got a performance-oriented role and that she will get a good name through the film. Wrapped up in flat 20 days, the film has dialogues by noted writer Marudhuri Raja.
