Politics is so deep, a danger. I’m little hesitant but certainly not scared - Rajini

Speaking at the soundtrack launch of ‘Lingaa’ in Chennai on Sunday, superstar Rajinikanth said the film’s director KS Ravi Kumar looked after him like a baby on the sets. “The care and warmth shown by ‘Lingaa’ crew moved me a lot,” he said. When director Ameer (the one who parted ‘Lingaa’ title to Rockline Venkatesh) suggested that Rajinikanth should enter politics and become Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the matinee idol said that he is not afraid of politics, but a little hesitant. He added that politics is dangerous and deep. “Situations may decide my future course of action. I know it has taken so much of time for me to decide. But, the time has to come. If God decides, I will serve people unconditionally,” said Rajini amidst a thunderous applause from his fans.

He also said that he will never forget people who have stood by him in the past. “It is the same reason that I opted for a film with Rockline Venkatesh (producer),” said Rajini, who looked dapper in a black suit. “Venkatesh keeps helping people without expecting anything in return. He has splurged big money on the film with no second thoughts. He has brought in world-class technicians to work on the film.”

The actor, who has moved millions of fans through his stylish acting, said that acting is easy, but delivering a hit is difficult. However, he said that when one faces problem, do not postpone it, but face it.

Meanwhile, though the producer confirmed the actioner’s release on December 12, director Ravi Kumar seemed to be a little hesitant. “I can't confirm the release date yet because there's still lot of computer graphic work pending. We'll try our best to release in December," he said.
