Movie Lovers Vs Movie Makers

Debate between movie lovers and movie makers goes on without any end. While movie lovers complain lack of quality in current generation films and cite it as a reason for staying away from theatres, movie makers say, they are making films according to the tastes of the movie lovers. So many wonder where the fault lies and who is right and who is wrong.

Movie lovers say in the earlier days movies used to be clean entertainers and no double meaning dialogues. But now lot of skin show and obscenity has crept into the movies. Movie makers say they are making films only for the masses and fans as only they are the repeated viewers and those who articulate the above clean entertainers talk never even watch films in theatres.

Both have a point. For when movie lovers craved for good films, many came like Onamalu, Drushyam, Naa Bangaru Talli, Chaduvukovali. But how many of them really watched these films? When they don't encourage those films how will movie makers get inspired to make good films. Movie makers too should think that by making good films they can increase their viewership base which helps in getting more collections. Unless the thought process of both movie makers and movie lovers change, one cannot see a sea change in films.
