The actor-turned-politician attended the do as chief guest. When fans wanted to know the absence of his brother Pawan Kalyan, Chiru had this to say: “As Varun Tej pointed out, power star is shooting in Varanasi. Though he got an invitation he was busy.
Fans should appreciate his work ethics and should leave it.” This statement from Chiru surprised one and all considering that he treats fans as his family members. But before explaining Pawan’s no show, Chiru had to tell fans why Ram Charan didn’t turn up. “His mom is undergoing a surgery, so he was attending her,” he said.
Speaking about Varun Tej, he said, “Varun will fulfill Naga Babu’s dreams. I’ve seen him grow in front of me. While he addresses Naga Babu and his wife as Nanna and Amma, he calls me and Surekha as Daddy and Mommy.”
