Though Pooja Hegde will be away from Tollywood for a while starting from January,promotions of \'Mukunda\' will keep her busy in Hyderabad for a good part of this month.The Sreekanth Addala Directorial will open in cinema halls next Thursday and Pooja says she doesn\'t have a name in the film.
Though Pooja Hedge will be away from Tollywood for a while starting from January,promotions of 'Mukunda' will keep her busy in Hyderabad for a good part of this month.The Sreekanth Addala Directorial will open in cinema halls next Thursday and Pooja says she doesn't have a name in the film."You have to ask Sreekanth garu why he hasn't given my character a name in the film." she smiles."I play Rao Ramesh's daughter who is the centre of the story.I'm more of a traditional girl and a perfect daughter in the film."
About the film,she says,"Varun's charcater is akin to Lord Sri Krishna's role in Mahabharatha;the difference is that our film is set in the bacjdrop of politics."Speaking about her co-star,she shares,we got to spend good time only during the shooting of songs in Switzerland,Being of similar age,we got along really well.He's like a friend with whim I can be share food if we go for luch or dinner."
She believes that Varun will be the next big thing from the mega family.He's got some power in his eyes as he can communicate with them;just with a single look,he can scare people,"She smilies adding,"From the mega family,he will do well.He's so tall:even his hair adds to his height.I Kept pulling his leg about iy."
Pooja says she was blown away by the way Sreekanth narrated the script."I was captivated by his narration.Later I watched his'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle chettu'and liked the way he presented the heroines. I also like the way he went about his job.He doesn't demonstrate how to entact a scene;he rather gives you your own space.He gets into the minutest of details about filmmaking.In fact,he picked up my costumes for a song."recalls the second runne rup in the'Miss Universe India 2010' competiton.
Ashutosh ha sroped in Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning international costume designer April Ferry to put her creative forces together for the film and poojq is thrilled about it."We don't have any photogrpahs of Indus Valley Civilisation but she has done a beautiful job on the outfits,"signs off pooja who has allocated the first half of 2015 for the project.
