Vishnu Manchu’s initiative to bring in new talent
Actor Vishnu Manchu launched the ‘Vishnu Manchu Short Film Contest’ on Thursday. It will be an annual contest starting every year on January 15. The guidelines to enter the contest are expected to be revealed in a week. The uniqueness of this contest is that the winning director wil get to direct a full-length feature film, produced by Manchu’s company 24 Frames Factory.

Actor Vishnu Manchu launched the ‘Vishnu Manchu Short Film Contest’ on Thursday. It will be an annual contest starting every year on January 15. The guidelines to enter the contest are expected to be revealed in a week. The uniqueness of this contest is that the winning director wil get to direct a full-length feature film, produced by Manchu’s company 24 Frames Factory.
The winner of the contest will be announced on actor Dr Mohan Babu’s birthday on March 19. “Getting into the industry for many is extremely tough. There is a huge talent to be unearthed. The contest will enable aspirants to approach the industry in a whole new manner,” Vishnu said. “I am just opening a path for those who actually have talent, an opportunity to materialise their dreams. My vision is to make this platform for fresh talent. It's also a wonderful way to discover,” Vishnu added.
