Candolim(Goa): Actors Amrita Arora and Ali Fazal added a dash of Bollywood quotient for designer Dolly's showcase at the ongoing Gionee Smartphones India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW) 2015 here.

Dolly is the wife of film producer Ritesh Sidhwani, and so, it was no wonder that her show was marked by a celebrity-studded front row. Of course there was Ritesh. Him apart, there were Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Chunky and Bhavana Pandey, Zoya Akhtar, Sarah Jane Dias and Adhuna Akhtar, accloding the designer's creative take on clothes for both men and women.

Amrita opened the designer's collection titled 'Nobel Faith' in a black asymmetric dress with silver metallic edging on neck, while Ali took to the ramp in a quilted waistcoat, denim jacket, t-shirt and slim trousers.

As part of her spring/summer 2015 line for men, Dolly showcased a line of floral and pine-printed shirts teamed with easy camouflage printed shorts. There were also t-shirts teamed up with stylish denim over-shirts.

For women's wear, there was a line-up of denim jumpsuits, dresses, shorts, cropped tops with hints of lace. Embroidery was selectively used on laces, and that played a dominant role in the collection.

Some outfits that grabbed eyeballs were blousoned printed minis with glittering neck and shoulders, fringed waistcoats, white lace halter gown and black tasselled-front mini.

The designer opted for colours like green, blue and coral to give the summer feel to the entire collection with neutral black and white adding sensuality to the line. Prints also played a major role with jungle and palm images enlivening the dresses, skirts and jumpsuits.
