Rubbishing reports that he along with his friends created ruckus in the wee hours of Sunday by hooting and shouting, prompting a neighbouring senior bureaucrat to take the help of cops, actor Ram Charan said that he was simply having a family dinner.

“Wonder how a simple family dinner at my home is being made to seem like a loud bash. We respect our neighbours and most of all their privacy,” said the actor taking to social networking site Facebook on Monday. On Sunday, top bureaucrat Gowtham Sawang staying at MP & MLAs Colony on Road No 10 C, Jubilee Hills, alerted the police control room and informed them about the annoyance caused by the residents of a house on Road No 25, Jubilee Hills, in the neighbourhood.

The house reportedly belongs to Charan’s father Chiranjeevi. The police claimed that by the time they reached the spot, the sound had gone off. With his statement the actor hoped that all the speculations can now be put to rest.
