On Sunday, Telugu actor Akash in the presence of Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy joined the TRS party. During a programme at Film Chamber in the city, several others along with the actor joined the TRS and took the primary membership of the party.
Nayini Narasimha Reddy presenting TRS kanduva formally welcomed the actor into the party fold.
Beginning his career with Rojavaanam, Akash made his debut with Anandam directed by Sreenu Vaitla.
Nayini welcoming Akash into the TRS fold said that Hyderabad is the best place for movie shoots and by bringing all the producers under one roof, his government plans to set up a cinema township.
