Prabhas and Gopichand’s natural bonhomie

The audio launch of Gopichand-starrer ‘Jil’ was a grand affair but what caught the attention of one and all was the rapport the actor shared with good friend Prabhas who launched the film’s audio.The duo spent the entire time together (as has been witnessed during several earlier occasions) and were seen having a gala time as they kept talking, whispering into each other’s ears, laughing and giggling.

As they walked to the stage amongst bouncers, they were greeted by humongous cheering. Once he had the microphone in hand, Prabhas was asked by anchor Suma how and when they became such good friends. The actor, who seems to have oodles of his ‘Baahubali’ weight’, told the audience, “It was long ago before I even became an actor.

Gopi was already an actor then and already had a release! We met at Gopi Krishna Movies’ office for some reason and we immediately hit it off.” At this juncture, the audience kept cheering and hardly gave him a chance to talk but still the smiling actor continued.“When we worked together in ‘Varsham’, it was then that we bonded really well and from then, we have remained like this,” he added.

The launch

Lead actress of ‘Jil’, Raashi Khanna, was dressed to impress. Producers of the film Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati were present at the event along with directors Vijay Kumar Konda, Maruthi, Sriwass and V Anand Prasad.
