My films are my style statement.National award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, who has helmed offbeat films like ‘Omkara’, ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Haider’, considers his films as his style statement which teleports cinema lovers to a whole new arena of the film with ease.
National award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, who has helmed offbeat films like ‘Omkara’, ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Haider’, considers his films as his style statement which teleports cinema lovers to a whole new arena of the film with ease.
The 49-year-old multi-talented filmmaker mentioned that he uses camera lens to see the world as according to him style means having an open mind without any prejudice.
“My films are my style statement. If people watch any of my films or hear a dialogue in it, they can easily make out what the entire movie is about,” Bhardwaj said.
“The characters I create are so different and unique from others and that depicts my strength in the film arena,” he added.
Bhardwaj has garnered plaudits for his recent film ‘Haider’. Apart from that he has also directed and composed music for films like ‘Makdee’, ‘Omkara’, ‘Kaminey’ and ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.
