Rey delay was disappointing

It was in 2010 that her film ‘Rey’ was launched. While the film’s release kept delaying, the film’s lead actors moved on to greener pastures but actress Saiyami Kher says that despite all that, the delya was disappointing.

“Obviously the film’s delay disappointed me. But nothing is in my hands and I believe that good things take their time to happen,” she said speaking to reporters recently.

Saiyami, who says she is playing a simple girl-next-door in ‘Rey’, wants to do glamorous roles in the future. “But it shouldn’t be just any role! It should give me scope to perform,” she says.

With no previous experience in acting, she attributed the film’s director YVS Chowdary for being a “great teacher”. Meanwhile, she is busy with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s next.
