The trailer was released during the telecast of the India-Bangladesh match at the Cricket World Cup, after much buzz.Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is set in the 1960s and is a large screen adaptation of Gyan Prakash’s ‘Mumbai Fables’.

The story is about a man with big dreams and the extent he is willing to go to be successful. The surprise package of the film’s trailer is filmmaker Karan Johar, who will be seen as Kaizad Khambatta, a character with grey shades. His villainous look with a shrewd smile and a moustache leaves a lasting impression.

Shots of Ranbir with a machine gun; a race course; men in dapper suits, women with the iconic bouffant of the era; give a feel of what the mafia movie will have in store.Jointly produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India, the film is set for release on May 15.
