Looks like there’s no stopping producer C Kalyan these days. After snatching the Telugu distribution rights of Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Uttama Villain’ for a fancy price, the producer, who has Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ and Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Attack’ under production currently, has managed to get dates of another big fish – Mahesh Babu. Yes, the actor has given his nod for a film to be produced by Kalyan. And guess what? The film is likely to start once Mahesh wraps up his present film ‘Srimanthudu’ (tentative title).

A source in the know says, “The deal was sealed very recently. The actor will pick the director, cameraman and stylist of his liking – a practice that he normally follows for his every film.”The source adds that ‘Brahmotsavam’ with SreekanthAddala may take time. The film, to be produced by Prasad V Potluri, was supposed to be the actor’s next. It was a part of his three-film deal with PVP. “Addala is yet to finish scripting the film.
