The election results of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) were once again postponed by the City Civil Court, on Thursday. The court postponed its decision to April 13. It may be recalled that MAA election results were not announced as the City Civil Court postponed its decision due a case filed against the elections.

The elections were held in the last week of March, but the court ordered not to announce results till it delivers the verdict

Hyderabad: The election results of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) were once again postponed by the City Civil Court, on Thursday. The court postponed its decision to April 13. It may be recalled that MAA election results were not announced as the City Civil Court postponed its decision due a case filed against the elections. The polls were held in the last week of March, but the court ordered not to announce results till it delivers the verdict.

Actor O Kalyan filed a petition in the court urging it to postpone the decision as irregularities were taking place in MAA elections. Admitting the petition, court served a notice to present MAA president Murali Mohan and general secretary Ali. After receiving court notices, Murali Mohan and Ali submitted a counter. However, the court ordered election officials to submit a counter, following which election officials submitted video recording feed to the court on March 31. It may be recalled that actors Rajendra Prasad and Jayasudha contested for the president post.
