On May 1st, Kamal Haasan will be locking horns with his daughter Shruti Haasan at the box office with their respective movies – ‘Uttama Villain’ and ‘Gabbar is Back’.
Even though the genre and language is different in the movies, it is the first time ever Shruti Haasan’s movie will be releasing on the same day as her father’s movie.
‘Gabbar Is Back’ directed by Krish, stars Akshay Kumar opposite Shruti and is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster "Ramanna". Kamal Haasan’s ‘Uttama Villain’ is directed by Ramesh Aravind and revolves around the story between an eighth century theatre artist and a modern-day superstar.
