MAA Election Results Out Soon As Court Quashes O Kalyan Petition. The City Civil Court on Wednesday quashed the petition of producer O Kalyan and directed to announce the results of elections at anytime. The court left the decision to the returning officer.
The City Civil Court on Wednesday quashed the petition of producer O Kalyan and issued directions for the long delayed results of elections to be announced soon. The court left the decision to the returning officer.
It may be recalled that Actor O Kalyan filed a petition in the court urging it to postpone the decision as irregularities were taking place in MAA elections. The court today dismissed Kalyan's petition today and pulled him up for wasting its time.
It's worth mentioning here that MAA election results were withheld after the City Civil Court postponed its decision following a case filed against the elections. The polls were held in the last week of March, but the court ordered not to announce results till it delivers the verdict. Now, with the line clear, the results are expected to be announced in a day or two.
