Nargis as Sangeeta Bijlani?

While Emraan Hashmi is set to play cricketer Azharuddin in the latter’s biopic, a buzz doing the rounds indicates that Nargis Fakhri has been in talks to essay the role of Sangeeta Bijlani, the sportsman’s second wife.

The film, a directorial venture of Anthony D’Souza, will see Prachi Desai playing Azhar’s first wife Naureen. Though there’s no confirmation regarding the same, it is interesting to note that the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon were considered for the role. Speculations were also rife that producer Ekta Kapoor was keen on Bijlani playing her part.
