Varma inspires Vishnu

At a promotional event of ‘Singham 123’, his production venture, actor Vishnu Manchu spoke about what production means to him. “My dad has been an actor and producer and possibly that’s why those are the only things I know since childhood.

There are films I can act in. But there are other films that I want to be a part of but cannot act in due to various reasons; it is those films that I want to produce,” he shared. “I really love films but can make only those which I believe in and if there’s no belief I don’t see any sense in being a part of it.

“There was a low phase in my career but Ram Gopal Varma helped me bounce back. His words ensured that I believed in myself. People may call him eccentric, cranky and crazy but no one can deny that he’s a genius,” he stated.

As for producing ‘Singham 123’, Vishnu said, “When I watched Sampoornesh in ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’, I laughed my heart out. And later, I decided to make a film with him.”
