'The Monuments Men' actor revealed in an interview that when he propose d his 37-year-old lawyer wife, he was 53 at that time and was on his knees for 28 minutes, waiting for her to answer the question soon, otherwise he would not be able to stand back up, Us Magazine reported.
The 54-year-old American actor added that his proposal was a complete surprise as his Human Rights lawyer had no clue that the actor was going to pop the question.
Amal obviously didn't delay to answer the biggest question of her life and said yes to George.
