Alia pulls out of Homi's Raabta

Current Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt had to pull out of director Homi Adajania ‘Raabta’ owing to her busy schedule. The actress, who was supposed to be paired opposite Sushant Singh Rajput for the first time, opted out of the film in the eleventh hour as she is totally occupied with Vikas Bahl's ‘Shandaar’, Abhishek Chaubey's ‘Udta Punjab’, Shakun Batra's ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and Karan Malhotra's ‘Shuddhi’.

Moreover, the actress, it is said, had enough of love stories. Alia’s sudden exit has come a rude shock to Homi, who wrote the script visualising the actress in mind. However, he is hurrying up and looking for a fresh face to play the role as the movie is set for release in early 2016. The film was to go to sets this month but it seems the sudden development will push it a bit further.
