If we go by some of the films like Aarya, which is unarguably the best film in Allu Arjun’s career, faced this problem as its sequel Aarya2 failed to impress the viewers.

Same is the case with Shankar Dada MBBS, Gaayam, Rakta Charitra, Chandramukhi, and Money. The sequels of all these movies failed miserably at the box-office. Sequels in Bollywood and Hollywood have better record, but Tollywood failed to cash in on the craze of hit films.
Despite all this, the directors yearn to make sequels. Kick was a big break in Ravi Teja’s career and he is coming up with a sequel. Also Pawan Kalyan’s biggest blockbuster Gabbar Singh created many records and power star himself is getting the script ready for its sequel.
Definitely the records are not in favor of sequels. But, every day is a new day. Hope these most-awaited films boost the confidence to make sequels and satiate the audience, who want more.
