Due to continuous delay in the release of Kick 2, the director also turned against the producer.

Kalyan Ram’s biggest hit ‘Athanokkade’ was directed by Surender Reddy. Post highly successful ‘Race Gurram,’ the director planned a sequel to his hit movie Kick starring Ravi Teja. Kalyan Ram came forward to produce this flick. Even after two months of its audio launch, Kick sequel is yet to be released.
All these happenings have reportedly broken the bond between the director and the producer. Will Kick2 live up to its expectations and become a reason to re-unite its producer and director? Only time will tell.
