Bangalore Days remake halted?

Work on the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Bangalore Days’ has been indefinitely stalled owing to casting issues, according to a source.

“It has become extremely tough to get a right cast in place for the film and so the makers decided to stall it for the meanwhile. Though there was some work in progress, all work has suddenly been put to a halt,” informs the source, adding that there is a possibility of the film being shelved.

The film was to be helmed by ‘Oh My Friend’ director Venu Sriram under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The likes of Varun Tej, Sharwanand, Avasarala Srinivas and Nithya Menen had been signed to play important roles.
