Sukumar’s nephew debuts with Control–C
Actor Ashok, director Sukumar’s nephew, is making his debut with ‘Control–C’, the first look launch of which took place in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Sukumar graced the event as the chief guest. Directed by Sairam Challa, the film is produced by T Prabhakar.

Speaking at the launch, Sukumar said, “I go a long way with Sairam and one day he expressed his interest to direct a film. When he a pitched a story, I felt it required a huge canvas. I asked him to make a small film first and within no time he came up with the script of ‘Control–C’.”
He added, “After surviving the 9/11 attacks, a guy and a girl (played by Ashok and Disha Pandey) get hold of a CD. What role does it play forms the premise of the film, a horror thriller.” Banerjee, Prithvi, Sameer and Hema are playing supporting roles in the film.
