"I am not insecure, I can do it," said John at the trailer launch of the film. ‘Welcome Back’ is John's first film after the critically acclaimed ‘Madras Café’. His home production ‘Vicky Donor’ was a success at the box-office as well.
When asked about his views on being a producer, the 42-year-old said, "I think every film is important, but I don't stress on one particular film, whether it will work or not. My job is to perform and that's what I mean to do. I make films, I enjoy doing that, one year, two year, three years, I don't really care. I am not insecure and I know I can do it".
