A two-judge PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Friday dismissed at the admission stage a PIL complaining that the authorities failed to check large-scale black-marketing of the Telugu film Bahubali. The bench of Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice SV Bhatt were dealing with a writ plea filed by Cine Prekshakula Sangham complaining that the reported price of tickets for the film had skyrocketed to mind-boggling numbers and yet the authorities were not taking any option. The bench refused to entertain the petition on the ground that the petition lacked details and did not warrant interference in public interest.
