Rajamouli's Baahubali collections beats Aamir's PK at global box office

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali' is breaking box office collection records of Indian films with the film has collected over $1 million on its opening day.

The movie has beaten Aamir Khan’s PK records in the international markets on the opening day with the initial official reports stating that the collection stood at $1,010,550 from 118 screens while PK earned $967,152 on the opening day in the US.

With a bombastic start, 'Baahubali' according to the trade analysts predictions is set to break all-time records of other Indian films such as Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran', Shahrukh Khan's 'Happy New Year, Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' and Salman Khan's 'Kick'.

'Baahubali' stars an ensemble cast consisting of Prabhas, Rana Dagubbatti, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sudeep, Prabhakar, Nasser, Sathyaraj and others. SS Rajamouli's dream of making the biggest Indian motion picture ever has managed to strike a chord with the audiences taking the box office by a storm amidst all the craze, fanaticism, euphoria and hype.
