The veteran actor's daughter, Jennifer, announced the sad news on Facebook, the Mirror reported.
The Emmy award winning actor was most known for his role as mobster and Las Vegas casino owner Moe Greene in 'The Godfather'.
There are currently no reports of the cause of death .
