Eid at home according to sources was low key celebrations for Salman this year with friends and his folks .This workaholic dude was busy basking in the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan with the huge collection on this festival. "The film took off at a positive note being my first production it indeed feels great,” says Salman

Adding more he says, “We are glad that you liked the film. It is unheard of on a normal holiday it’s a big collection. It's because you believed and trusted in us.Simplicity works. Even in Tiger I was a simple man. I worked as a teacher. When he makes a commitment he does not listen to anyone.

Connect with emotion and action in a film. "Every six years I did films with emotional content. All films have to be backed with emotion...even action has to be backed with emotion.

Binding people together is what Sallu looks forward to, “If we do not make films to bring together countries, or brother sisters or families together then what is the use? We are here to bond people together. I don't like bashing people unnecessarily. We often make films on them. They will not like it. When people from sports field go there, they are treated so well.”

On his earlier films he adds, "I did a film called Baghban when I was doing action films. It's difficult for me to play emotional roles after Dabangg, Wanted and Kick. Sultan is almost the same. Many people are comparing the film to Tere Naam because of the emotional connect. Though they are different films. I had to put on 8 to 10 kilos of muscle not fat.”

Adding more about his films he says, "Wanted and Dabanng genre came in everyone liked it but now they hate it. Six seven years there are ten films on the same genre its herd mentality. The bigger the hit the faster you get bored. I thought Hum Saath Saath Hain was a better film than Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. It's boring to see such film all over again.”

Appreciation of a film is what Salman craves for, "The reaction I got from theatres gives me a high. The intention with which we made this film has been accomplished. If the film does well and is not appreciated that doesn't mean anything. I rather have a film which does not do well at the B.O.but is appreciated..this means a lot to me.

Appreciating Harshaali: Whosoever has their good time may be an animal or a kid anyone for that matter we need to go in accordance to their support .Now like Harshaali who enacted so innocently that I and Nawaz decided to go with the flow whatever she was portraying was really so innocent and since we followed her therefore the nature of our work reflected in a good manner. We could not be enacting while this innocent little girl performed so exuberantly.

Festive releases: Whether the film releases on Eid, Diwali or Christmas, it does not mean it is my day. It is indeed a day for all of us in general.

Pakistan release: My first film production has released and has been accepted by Pakistan too!.They have released the film with a U” while here in India it has released with a U/A. The Pak audiences too is writing positive twitter which makes me feel very happy.

The film connected: It is really great that my first home production has successfully run on the very first day. I am happy that after so many years people are leaving the theatre with tears of happiness. This is happening in theatres alone but I am sure any time when it will release on Television now and after many years, the then generation will take away the message of love, respect hopefully about following secularism too. This thought makes me very happy.

On a naughty note about giving Eidi: Let me ponder over this query. Yes, earlier I always desired to get some Eidi And now I do not prefer taking Eidi but now there is no one bigger than me so I have to offer Eidi to the youngsters!

Showcasing his keenness to have more theatres: I request our Government to build more theatres so that more films of big stars can release on the same day. This would give a chance to the fans too. Also fans of all the big stars can enjoy on the same day, a film of their favourite heroes.

“Tax should also be there but the Government should earn and they should put it back on improving the country. I want all the heads of the country to see the film. I have been tweeting that they should watch the film and till I get a response I will keep tweeting. I feel somewhere it will melt their hearts."

About Reviews: If they think that they have given good reviews and I am going to say thank you, I am not going to say it. Even when I got minus reviews my films have worked.

Fans matter most: The reaction of my fans is important because I have become producer for first time and I was looking forward to it. Till we agree on the script we don’t start working on it. We work with sensibility, humour, backdrop, emotional connect and larger than life image we start working on all of it.

Sallu’s next Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is going to hit theatres on Diwali and does well but that doesn't mean that it's my Diwali, he concludes.
