Big B & Aamir Khan to attend Chiru’s 60th b’day bash

In what will be an affair to remember, actor Ram Charan has pulled out all stops to ensure that his father Chiranjeevi’s 60th birthday this Saturday will be a memorable one. While mega fans have already kick-started celebrations across the two Telugu-speaking states, Ram Charan has invited big guns of Bollywood and Tollywood to be a part of his near four-hour event which will take place at a luxurious hotel in Hyderabad on Saturday evening.

“Invitations have been sent to Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan and both of them confirmed that they will attend the do,” said a source close to Charan. “Bachchan and Aamir are good friends of Chiru and when they were contacted by Charan to be a part of the celebrations, they readily agreed. Moreover, they were mighty happy when they learnt from Charan that Chiru is indeed making a comeback to films with his current film with Sreenu Vaitla.”

The source added that from Tollywood, besides mega family heroes and top stars of the current generation, invitations have been sent to Chiru’s peers too. “The likes of Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu will attend the event. Ravi Teja and Nithiin are the heroes from the current lot who have been shot off invitations.” The source confirmed that megastar’s younger brother and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan too will make it to the event.

“Though he is occupied with work related to his next film ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ on Saturday, he gave his consent to be a part of the event. In fact, Ram Charan will be personally driving Pawan to the event. This would be the first time—nearly after two years — that both Chiru and Pawan will share a dais together.” Adding glamour to the event will be Tollywood’s leading ladies like Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Rakul Preet Singh. “In fact Genelia Deshmukh too has given her consent verbally,” said the source.
