Megastar Chiranjeevi, who attended the soundtrack launch of nephew Sai Dharam Tej-starrer ‘Subrahmanyam For Sale’ in Hyderabad over the weekend, said that he is a big fan of director Harish Shankar’s ‘Gabbar Singh’. Harish is also the director of ‘Subrahmanyam For Sale’.

“After watching ‘Gabbar Singh’, I felt Harish gave a wonderful film for brother Pawan Kalyan. But the actor inside me felt that I should have been told a subject like it. I wished I got a director like Harish,” he stated to a packed Shilpa Kala Vedika. He added, “’Gabbar Singh’ was completely different from the original (Dabangg).

Harish ensured that he packed every scene with entertainment and the success credit should go to him. I haven’t finalised the director for my 150th film and Harish can throw his hat in the ring. Even Vamsi Paidipally and other young directors too can approach me. I’m ready. Come to me with a good script.”

Heaping high praise on ‘Subrahmanyam For Sale’ producer Dil Raju, Chiru said that he would love to star in a film produced by him after he completes his 150th. Dil Raju, on the other hand, said, "I'm really excited about megastar’s 150th film. I wish I could produce it. But since Ram Charan will be producing, I wish to distribute it," he said.

He also said that he got consent from Pawan Kalyan. It has been Raju’s dream to produce a film with the actor-turned-politician for long. “2015 has been lucky to me. I got a green signal from Pawan Kalyan garu 15 days ago. We haven’t zeroed in on the director yet but I will make it in a way that it will be embraced by all mega fans,” he said.v
