It may be recalled here that Regional officer of Central Board of Film Certification Hyderabad G. Srinivasa Rao was caught by the CBI at Samachar Bhavan in Masab Tank while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a Tollywood producer to give a ‘U’ certificate to Andhala Chandhamama.
Recently, Vishnu accused the Censor board members of taking bribes to issue certificates and he also complained to the CBI on this.
The CBI reportedly asked Manchu whether the Censor board officials demanded any bribe to issue certificate to his film Dynamite, which released last Friday.
