Amy Jackson has been roped in to play the lead actress in Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film ‘Enthiran 2’, directed by Shankar. “Amy has been approached to play an important role in ‘Enthiran 2’ (Robot 2 in Telugu) and her character will be similar to action heroines in Hollywood”, said a source from the unit.
Earlier, the ‘Yevadu’ actress hinted that she might be part of the Sci-Fi through her official Twitter handle, where she shared a few pics of her standing next to a couple of robotic suits. Amy will be the third actress after Manisha Koirala and Aishwarya Rai to feature in Shankar films twice.
While Shankar’s directorial will be shot in 3D, interestingly, a key portion of the film will incorporate motion capture technique. The filmmaker is presently busy with the pre-production work of the film.
