Beautiful ghost Poorna set to sizzle

Poorna, who was last seen ‘Avunu 2’, is set to sizzle in a special appearance in her forthcoming film ‘Raju Gari Gadi’, directed by Ohmkar.

“I play ‘Bommali’, a ghost who looks beautiful in the film (laughs). It’s a cameo role. I was excited when I heard about my part.

Although it’s a guest appearance, my role is spoken about throughout the film. I was earlier part of a horror flick ‘Avunu 2’, but I did not play a ghost and that’s why I accepted the role. I only asked the director not to show me with all the bloodshed that one gets to associate with ‘ghostly’ stories.”

Poorna, who is also working on a couple of projects in Malayalam and Tamil, was excited to get a taste of royalty. Yes, I am a queen dressed in ravishingly royal saris. This is the first time I will be attired in such regal outfits. I’m glad that I was beautifully portrayed. I wanted to play a queen’s role just like Anushka in ‘Rudhramadevi’, and wear such outfits. Basically, I don’t like Western outfits. So when I got the opportunity to dress up queen-like, I was elated,” shares Poorna, who is a trained Kathak dancer.

The former Malayalam model couldn’t stop raving about Mahesh Babu after working with him in ‘Srimanthudu’.

“When I first came to Tollywood, I was fascinated with Mahesh Babu. So when I got a chance to work with him, I was on cloud nine. Even though I was there for a brief time in the song (Rama Rama), I got several compliments” she signs off.
