Neha HingeMiss India (2010) Neha Hinge, who is making her Telugu debut with writer Vijayendra Prasad’s yet-untitled sci-fi drama, will be seen in the role of a neuroscience student. Throwing more light, she says, “I play a scientist's daughter who aspires to become a scientist herself. She is independent, responsible, and a determined girl, whose life is all about her family and career. How science changes my life is the premise of the film. My role has many grey shades too.”

Like many actors, Neha was never fascinated by film industry but destiny had other plans. “I was never interested in showbiz. I started to enjoy acting only after I got into films. After becoming Miss India, I did a Bollywood film, ‘Love you Suniyo’, but it failed to set the cash registers ringing. It was then I realised that my next film had to be good content-wise so that I can get recognition. When I signed a South film in 2013, it was then I learnt that there are four languages down here.” explains the Madhya Pradesh-born, who also made her Tamil debut with ‘Sagaptham’.
