He has locked in NTR as the lead star, cinematographer Madhie to film it and now Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is likely to play a central figure in the film. Yes. According to sources close to the project, Koratala, known to fashion strong supporting roles is keen on Mohanlal playing a decisive role in his emotional actioner.
“It’s a tailor-made role for Mohanlal. Since he is not someone who is averse to playing supporting roles, Koratala had designed the role keeping him in mind. He had approached him with the character but Lal is yet to go through the draft. Koratala along with his producers are feverishly hoping that Lal comes on board for the project,” confirmed a source close to the production unit.
“He will be required to shoot for the feature next February by which he will be through with Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s next. Koratala is ready to adjust the shooting schedules according to Lal’s comfort,” added the source. To be produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan under Mythri Movies, the film is dated for an August 2016 release.
