Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif refrained from making a direct comment on the popularity of her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and his ex-flame, actress Deepika Padukone\'s on screen Jodi.

However, at the opening ceremony of the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival, the actress said that 'everybody is free to work with each other'.
Rumours were rife that the ‘Phantom’ actress, 32, was getting insecure of Ranbir and Deepika's chemistry in their upcoming film ‘Tamasha’.
The pair, who dated for a year, were first seen together on screen in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ (2008), followed by the 2014 blockbuster ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, their first release after their break-up.
An online survey had claimed that Ranbir-Deepika would be the industry's next Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol, whose jodi is considered one of Bollywood's most iconic on screen.
When asked how she felt about the matter, Katrina said, "I am not a director, so I don't look at actors like that. Everybody is free to work with each other."
Katrina also shot down speculations that she would replace Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming third installment of the Don franchise. "No nothing like that," the actress said when asked about such reports.
