‘Ride’ helmer Ramesh Varma’s forthcoming film, ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’, is all about the protagonist’s chase for his first kiss. Newbie Palak Lalwani is making her acting debut opposite Naga Shourya in the romantic entertainer, which is dotted with a couple of lip-lock shots. Talking about her role, she says, “I have two shades in my character.

In the first half, I play an urban girl with modern thoughts and in the second half, my role is very settled and serious.” Interestingly, the Mumbai-beauty is pretty laid-back about the kissing sequence in the film. “There’s nothing extraordinary about it and it’s a part of the script. I think usually there’s a lot of hype about such scenes in every film, but it’s normal and I feel everyone experiences it once in their life time.

There’s nothing like OMG! there’s a lip-lock scene. I’m completely okay with it, as long as it’s filmed in an aesthetic way,” she explains smiling. “When you are getting into the industry, you know that you will come across such scenes at one or the other point of time. So I was prepared for it and Shourya was also co-operative.

He made me very comfortable and that’s the reason the scene has come out naturally,” she adjoins. “The kiss scene was not a forceful insertion. It was the need of the hour since the plot dealt with the first kiss,” justifies the director.
