Sreenivas to team up with Vijay Kumar Konda
A source to the actor confirms the development, “Yes, the story discussions have been happening for quite some time.
After testing waters with action and humour, Bellamkonda Sreenivas has now set his eyes on a rom-com. Sources say his next, after he wraps his current assignment with Bhimaneni Srinivas Rao, a remake a Tamil film ‘Sundarapandian’, will be helmed by Vijay Kumar Konda, whose first two projects, more or less, falls into the category.
A source to the actor confirms the development, “Yes, the story discussions have been happening for quite some time. The actor’s camp is pleased with the storyline and Sreenivas’ character sketch and has asked Vijay Kumar to come up with the final script. The director is working towards it.”
Interestingly, the film will be an original script and not a remake as speculated. “Initially, the actor-director duo thought of joining forces for a remake film but the director impressed the producers and the actor with a new storyline,” the source adds. Popular Kannada producers will bankroll the film, the shooting of which will flag-off early next year. -SA
