While Shruti Haasan's movie Vedhalam with Ajith was declared a blockbuster, the actress was overshadowed by Lakshmi Menon who played the role of Ajith's sister in the movie. Earlier, Shruti delivered a remarkable performance in 7th Sense and 3, but they failed to do well at the box office.
Coming to Samantha, her recent movies - Anjaan and Vikram's 10 Enradukulla didn't score big at the box office. Samantha's all time super hit movie in Kollywood is only Kathi where she had comparitively a smaller role. Looks like the actresses' efforts are going in vain in Kollywood. Hopefully they strike back again with their upcoming movies.
