Charmme returns and so does unrest at Cave

Charmme Kaur, whose self-styled big boss attitude attracted the ire of everyone at Puri’s high-end production office Cave sometime back, has comeback with forceful might, much to the chagrin of the disgruntled employees.

According to insiders, the actress has virtually taken over the control of the administration of Cave three weeks back, as if nothing had happened in the intervening period.

“She’s dictating terms at Cave, all over again. She even hired private security guards. The situation is such that if someone wishes to meet Puri, the individual has to be rooted through her, much similar to what was happening during the making of ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’. Incidentally, Puri is okay with her comeback,” confirmed a source close to the office.

After reports of their ‘alleged affair’ surfaced in the media, Ram Gopal Varma and a few other likeminded people had advised Puri that he would do well if focussed on his career. Staying away from Charmme was one among the several advises given,” said the source.

Charmme, to rewind a bit, was associated with the production of Puri’s ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’. When she tried to hold sway during ‘Loafer’, the original choice for the lead role Nithiin opted out of the film.

Eventually, Varun Tej landed up with the role. “Charmme is fond of Puri and their relationship has only thickened during the past one year. Though she dissociated with Cave for four-and-a-half months, her closeness to Puri meant regaining control of Cave once again,” said another source.

“While they both maintained that they are good friends, it’s no secret that the cat was out of the bag after ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ released.” The source close to Puri further said, “Puri’s family members had a confrontation with Charmme at the office but to no avail.”
