It is a known fact that actor Dhanush earlier donated Rs 5 lakh to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund through the South Indian Film Artistes' Association (SIFAA) for the Chennai flood victims. However, sources inform that Dhanush's contribution amounts to Rs One crore including all the relief measures he volunteered for in the Chennai flood areas.
While Dhanush is still organizing the relief measures through the rehabilitation centres for victims via medical camps in isolated areas, he is also not letting his professional commitments slide and is gearing up for the release of his next movie Thanga Magan that is slated to release on December 18.
