The makers of Zorawar, including producers Rajiee M Shinde, Rabindra Narayan and director Vinnil Markan along with the movie’s lead actor Honey Singh can’t stop smiling as the first ever Punjabi action thriller has surpassed the box office collections of Hindi movies released this week including Traffic, 1920 London and One Night Stand.

Interestingly, Zorawar is considered to be the first Punjabi film of this year which has managed to earn an impressive figure of Rs 2.73 crore on day one all India thereby surpassing the box office collections of the different genre films released on the same day.

Rajiee M Shinde, Rabindra Narayan and directed by Vinnil Markan, the Punjabi action romantic film Zorawar released on May 6, has expectedly generated good buzz among the audience, especially the youth who can’t stop praising the first ever Punjabi action thriller shot in Durban, actors performances and its foot-tapping music.

In fact, such has been the craze that people all over have gone gaga over the movie stating the interesting plot has got a good repeat value, appreciating the actors performances, that of Honey, Pavan Malhotra with an honest and fantastic portrayal of a cop and Mukul Dev with yet another impressive act in a Punjabi film. Along with them, female stars including Achint Kaur, Parul Gulati as a surprise package, Gurbani J, Amit Bahal and Jasmine have delivered outstanding performances.
