Kajal Aggarwal, who works in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films and has recently completed nearly a decade in the industry, feels it’s important to reinvent with every project. “There’s no dearth of self-improvisation. I would like to reinvent myself with every film and sphere of the industry and that is the only way to survive in the extremely competitive profession,” Kajal said at a store launch in Chennai recently.

The 30-year-old star replied, "Never take failure to your heart and success to your head. That’s the only way you can grow in this industry,” when asked about how she felt about the colossal flop of her recent Telugu release ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’.

Kajal, whose fashion sense has turned heads across industries, states ‘simple yet classy’ is her style statement. "Being a star has nothing to do with choice. As a star, I’m not brand-conscious, and I wear anything that attracts my fancy. If I really like something from a brand, I pick it up and know how to combine it with something I bought on the streets,” she smiles.

In Tamil, Kajal awaits the release of Jiiva-starrer 'Kavalai Vendam' and a yet-untitled project with Vikram. In Bollywood, she is looking forward to the release of Randeep Hooda-starrer ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’. She also has a Telugu project with her mentor Teja, who introduced her in 2007 film 'Lakshmi Kalyanam'.
