Chiru 150th: Team still finalising locations
Ever since Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, a remake of Tamil monster hit ‘Kaththi’, was launched in a low-key ceremony in Hyderabad in April, mega fans have been waiting with bated breath for the film to roll.

Ever since Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, a remake of Tamil monster hit ‘Kaththi’, was launched in a low-key ceremony in Hyderabad in April, mega fans have been waiting with bated breath for the film to roll.
While nothing concrete has emerged on this front, recently grapevine was abuzz with the news the filming will kick off on June 15 with a fight sequence. However, we’ve learnt that the schedule chart hasn’t been prepared yet.
“Director VV Vinayak, cinematographer Rathnavelu and art director Thota Tharani are still busy finalising the locations for the shoot. The schedule details will be out very soon,” said a source. The source added that heroine is yet to be finalised.
There have been reports that Ram Charan, who is producing the film under Konidela Production Company, is keen on Bollywood A-lister Deepika Padukone to romance his dad. “The heroine is yet to be confirmed,” the source categorically stated.
