Miya lands in Sunil’s film courtesy her dance skills

Miya George joins the list of Mallu girls who are landing plum roles in Tollywood of late. The actress is elated that her debut film, directed by Malli Malli Idhi Raani Roju fame Kranthi Madhav gives her ample scope to dance.

Recalling how she bagged the role, Miya reveals, “The makers were on the lookout for an artiste who can jig on par with Sunil. Since I performed in several stage shows earlier, the director was impressed with my dance skills. I’m happy that my Telugu debut will give me the opportunity to show my dance moves.

Miya plays a modern and a happy-go-lucky girl who works as a manager in a private firm in the film which is bracing up for its second schedule. It is a narrative driven role and I also have to travel to Kerala and converse in Malayalam; perhaps that’s one of the reasons I have been roped in she chortles.

About the film, the Kottayam actress shares, “Although it’s a full-length comic drama, it’ll be high on romance quotient. Family emotions are also woven into the narrative to cater to a large section of the udience
